EMPLOYMENT

Present: EPSRC Advanced Research Fellow at the Centre for Electrical Power Engineering, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. Investigating the electrodynamics of discharge sources and sensors in power systems, funded by an EPSRC Fellowship.

1997 - 1999: Senior Research Fellow. Working on advanced UHF diagnostics for partial discharges in gas insulated substations.

1996 - 1997: Research Fellow. Working on UHF couplers and calibration techniques for gas insulated substation applications.

1993 - 1996: Research Assistant at the Centre for Electrical Power Engineering, University of Strathclyde. Completed an EPSRC funded project to investigate the excitation of UHF resonances by partial discharges in gas insulated substations.

1989 - 1993: Senior Engineer at EEV Ltd, Carholme Road, Lincoln (Microwave Systems Group).

1985 - 1989: Engineer at Marconi Electronic Devices Ltd, Doddington Road, Lincoln (Receiver Protection Group).
